Overview

Bird Dog Construction is hiring a Field Supervisor to manage residential renovation and custom home build projects in the field. This role owns job site execution, trade coordination, quality control, and daily progress tracking.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who likes being on-site, solving problems, and keeping projects moving forward.

We hire for character, accountability, and work ethic. Skills can be trained. Reliability cannot.

What You Will Do

• Manage day-to-day job site operations
• Coordinate and direct subcontractors and trades
• Verify work quality and scope completion
• Maintain site safety and cleanliness standards
• Take and upload job site photos and progress updates
• Track daily field activity in Buildertrend
• Review plans and specifications before work starts
• Confirm materials are on site when needed
• Communicate field issues quickly to the office
• Support schedule execution and milestone tracking
• Attend site meetings with clients and inspectors when needed

What You Bring

• Residential construction experience preferred
• Experience supervising trades or crews strongly preferred
• Can read plans and basic construction drawings
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using a phone and basic software tools
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Able to move around job sites daily

Nice to Have

• Superintendent or lead carpenter background
• Renovation and custom build experience
• Buildertrend experience
