About Chris Drohosky
Chris Drohosky, the founder and owner of Bird Dog Construction, brings over 25 years of hands-on construction and project management experience to every build. His career began in the trades as a plumbing and air conditioning mechanic, and he worked his way through college as a carpenter—building and renovating homes while earning his bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University. That foundation of practical skill and academic knowledge still shapes the way Bird Dog Construction approaches each project today.
In 2005, Chris designed and built his own custom home in the foothills outside of Golden, sparking a lifelong passion for crafting spaces that balance functionality, beauty, and precision. Since then, he has overseen a wide range of projects—from custom homes and large-scale renovations to complex tenant finishes and steel building construction.
